I don't know why you need a gear indicator, when you get to know the bike you'll know what gear your in, I do anyway. just got footpeg lowering...

My bikes charging system is bone stock, don't think I'll mess with it unless it's causing problems.

I seem to fill up every 150 miles or so, the gauge is flashing but there is usually 5 or so litres left in the tank even when it's been flashing...
Welcome aboard, I think the 98-99 models are the best with the catless headers, but buy the best one you can find,I bought a beauty this year, 99...
