    Thanks for the help guys, all sorted now. It took a strip down of the rear axle assembly to find that the caliper bracket had pretty much welded...

    Pinch bolt is loose and free but bearing holder is solid.

    Hi Just gone to adjust the chain on my 1999 vfr 800 Fi and found that the bearing holder is solid. I adjusted it 12 months ago with no problems...
