The switch on the clutch works. I can push it in a tiny bit more and I can start the bike when not in neutral. It just doesn't get pushed in far...
Can you expand on this? I know what a diode is, not sure how it applies in this case?
When I pull in the clutch, I cannot start my 1998 VFR unless the bike is in neutral. It doesn't quite push the switch in far enough by about 1mm....

I did cut off the connector and I soldered each pair together. I see now that was unnecessary to do it that way! :P
Well, since we are here. I found that orange connector under some black electrical tape. Would not have looked there if you hadn't pointed me...

The bike cranks and fires right up. The FI light flickers and comes on dimly. If I rev the engine to 5k the intensity of the FI decreases...
