Nope - no joke. I first fitted the system to my CB750 as a test, but I am now moving it across to the VF500. See below for the story on the...
Last thing left to do to this bike is wire in the Motogadget M-Lock. Instead of a fob, I got the fob code hacked and loaded into a microchip,...
Yeah there is a little gap, probably caused by the back of the cowl having a tab that slides under the seat so it can move with the seat upholstery.
Does my butt look big in this? [IMG]
Solo seat now painted red. Much better. [IMG]
That is the one I bought off eBay in the UK recently.
The little sticker in the top says “solo” other than that there is no branding. The cowl has a metal tab that holds it under the rear of the seat...
Sorry mate but I bought this one second hand. Check out my other thread on “earth shatteringly important VF400” questions for where to buy cowls...
Evening all. Got my aftermarket solo seat cowl in the mail today from the UK (good old Christmas post always comes faster). [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]...
Cliff from Healesville in Victoria. Such great roads for VF's and VFR's around here. Currently sitting on a 1985 VF500.
Thanks Captain, I have purchased a VF400F grab bar for $10 from the same website. If you go to www.jauce.com and search "VF400 cowl" there are...
Help! Can someone please let me know if the body work on the VF400 and VF500 is the same? If so - I have hit the mother load for genuine...
[IMG] That new rear shock feels fine, took the bike for a spin up to Toolangi from Healesville (Google it). So lucky to live in a country town...
I plan to install upgraded progressive springs and maybe emulators. And replace brake lines with braid lines too.
I have also replaced the cheap and nasty small indicators with a set of better quality rubber framed LED units. [IMG] Problem is - the LED...
Got that YSS rear shock fitted easy. Did not have to remove too much from the bike to get to it. Just the battery, battery box, coolant...
So I ended up getting a YSS from a local supplier, should be here in a couple of weeks. Fitment does not look too hard, I am guessing the rear...
Thanks Cap, Looks like either Hagon or YSS in my budget range, the Bitubu and Wilburs are an expensive choice.
Well - looks like my stock old rear shock has gone the way most VF500 shocks eventually go. My VF500 is now a pogo stick. One bump on the road...
Slow times here in the Yarra Valley. I got out on the bike a few times and with the weather warming up I should get out a few times more soon. I...
