    anybody riding without a fuel pump ?

    No. What I meant was that it did not have enuf pressure at 1/2 tank. Leaving reserve on keeps the pressure up.

    VF1000F petcock gasket

    Fixed the first problem which was, off position did not work. However result was now petcock body leaks. I gave up and ordered a new one.
