I assembled and installed both cylinders to the paniers. It took me a good two hours to undertand how to, even with the 11 page instruction Honda brochure. They both work well and smoothly enough. This complex mechanism with 8 miniature springs does not inspire confidence for reliability. I would appreciate information on how to remove the cylinder out of the panier to repair/rebuilt should it become inoperative in the future ? The Honda instructions are silent on the matter.

I guess a locksmith would know but the whole motorcycle would have to be brought in if it would be stuck in the locked position as the panier could not be removed since locked.
