Have any of you fitted a 190/50 on the rear of a V-tec? I love the look of a fat rear (tire). I'm going with a set of the Dunlop 208's this time for more stick. I'm not a squid, really, I've been riding 20 years plus, and I ride for a living.

It's physically possible, but the bike will steer slower.

Plus, the tire sidewalls will be pinched inwards, and you'll never be able to use all the tread anyway.

    A 190 is designed for a 6" rim. Your Vtec has a 5.5" rim.

The only way to properly mount it so that the tire performs as intended by the Mfgr is on a 6" rim.

A 190 is heavier than a 180, and it also costs more.
