I don't think I have. This is my next RestoMod project and I had rolled it into the outer shop while I was shuffling some bikes around.

I noticed it before when I first got the bike as different, but didn't really think about it. It's not just a stick on, the border is molded and part of the cover.

Weird. But maybe they are out there more than I know, but I've looked at quite a few covers and it didn't ring a bell. The bike was made 3/86 and is #196, so not super low.

Just looked at mine and it does not have that emblem...just says FUSE where that wing emblem is at. Hmmm, VERY INTERESTING.

Yeah, and you can see where mine says "FUSE" at an angle to the left.

There is NOTHING else special about this bike. The original owner was a flake, but kind of an enthusiast, so maybe he sought it out. Surprised he didn't mention it though if he did. This poor thing sat in his driveway next to a concrete wall with no cover for YEARS.

Yes. There was a 1991 FZR1000 on the other side of his driveway in the same state. A friend of mine ended up picking up that one, with out either one of us knowing it was the same guy. Also a 1985 VF700F. God I hate people.

Here's the thread I started about this bike. A Honda Hawk GT got moved up in line ahead of this one... I do have THREE other running 86 VFRs after all.
