Up for sale is my pearl white 1993 Honda VFR750. I’ve enjoyed this bike for the past five years, but I’m looking to get into adventure riding so it’s time to move it on. When I picked up the bike, it had the two brothers pipe (sounds lovely) and a K&N filter kit in it. At that time the carbs had been professionally rebuilt and the bike still carburets beautifully. Over the course of my ownership, I’ve added a few accessories and done a few upgrades to include:

DMR revalved, re-sprung and rebuilt suspension front and rear (for ~200lb rider)

Mosfet Reg/rec and wiring upgrade (FH020AA), Honda voltmeter addition.

Kaoko throttle lock, Ram ball stem mount

MRA x-creen windscreen spoiler

I’ve also got some extras to go with the bike – soft bags, spare oil filter, Honda service manual.

Tires are recent, sticky Bridgestone S22s – less than 300 miles on them. Battery is a Yuasa new last fall and the bike sits on a trickle charger when not in use. Fluids all changed over the past 2-3 seasons, last oil change 800 miles ago. Recent VA state safety inspection and clean, clear title in hand.

Mileage sits at 36,300. The bike is mechanically excellent and starts, rides and stops like it should and handles much better than stock. Cosmetics show blemishes and bumps from 30 years of ownership – a few scuffs, chips and hairline cracks around – it’s not a show bike, but it presents very well for its age as you can see in the pics. Except for the rare seat cowl, all plastics are present and accounted for – I even have a spare side fairing that will go with the bike.

Price is $3400 obo. You don’t find many of these 3rd gen VFRs around anymore and this one is a nicely sorted rider that just needs someone to put some miles on it! I’d be open to trades up/down mainly for a small adventure or big dual sport (KTM 390 adventure, DR650 etc.), but let me know what you have (motorcycles only, please) if you are serious.
