I bought a 95 at auction. They said they were running it around the yard the day before (I know these guys and they were telling the truth) The day of the auction they were jumping it off(low battery) with a battery boost and could not get it to crank off to show me the running. I assumed fouled plugs. Pulled them and cleaned, laid against block to test a spark - has a spark. But I can't get it to run...it gives faint pulses of life as I turn it over with a fresh battery..but never kicks off...does back fire violently every so often. Smells like flood at pipes. Could the RR be the culprit? How do I test this part? Would it be damaged by the battery boost the auction yard used to start it? Any ideas where to start would be awesome... Thank you! Check the main fuse under the seat just in front of the battery. 30 amp I think. PO of my '95 told me that jumping the battery will most likely if not always blow that fuse.
