Anybody know of a method of replacing the nylon/plastic bush on the inside of a speedometer sensor down at the counter shaft sprocket ?

Honda want to sell a complete new sensor - not just the nylon bush, for $210 Aus ($170 US)

I am looking into one being made to replace the old bush that for some reason "rounded out" - a lot like a socket losing its edges

The speedo still spins when you twirl it, the bush has just rounded out and doesn't drive off the drive train to the speedometer any more because the small bush no longer maintains contact

thats the part all right - seems to be locktited onto the end of a tab, the inner of this bush sits over a nut on the countershaft sprocket
