    Hi, I love the Viffer
    I've owned multiple gens, 83,85,97,2010
I just hit a friggin boulder with my 1997 VFR750.
Busted in half, took out the front wheel/tire, body panels, punctured oilpan.
Am super pumped I stuck the landing & didn't become a grease spot.
I think the front wheel is same as cbrf3....
Maybe I can get the oil pan hole welded....cast alum...
But the body panels....they were not in good shape before, but now are fully toasted.
I'm looking for all new plastics....
    Ha, good luck.
    Any ideas?
I really don't want to scrap the bike, it's friggin old skool.

F3 wheel is the same. Those are the only two US bikes that share that wheel. They are getting hard to find in good shape (not bent / flat spot) where the owner doesn't think it's solid gold painted black. In a pinch you can run a 90 - 93 wheel with the non-floating rotors.

    Update....
I have started to take the bike apart, I think I will take a couple years and slowly rebuild.
I have gotten a new front wheel, it looks like it should fit.
Due to the impact with the rock, I did fully bottom out the front shocks.
I'm concerned about potential damage done. Seeing how I have the bike stripped down, I figured I might as well either replace the front shocks or have them rebuilt.
    Any suggestions?

Forks can bottom (hard) without damaging things. Would it be worth it to go thru them and replace the bushings and seals if you have the bike this far apart? Absolutely yes.

Also, If i had my bike sitting like that, I would have the stand saddles (with rags) under the axle just inside each fork.
