2002 recall how to check?

Looking at a 2002 vfr with 16,000 mi. Not original owner so how can I check to see if the recalls were done. Thanks.

 

If the seller has no records of that being taken care of, a phone call to a dealer with the vin number should clear that question for you.
As far as I know, there two recalls on this model. One is a safety recall, which Honda will pay for it -the main wiring harness- and the other one is a upgrade recall, which means Honda will not pay for the upgrade.

 

Search honda motorcycle recalls. The honda site you find will ask you for the VIN. You will need this from the owner, you can then check the recalls were carried out

 

Ya after I checked it out and took it for a ride I went to the dealer and he ran the Vin for me. All recalls done.
