Hi i need to geta new key cut and also require the transponder with the Honda ID46 in it, i can programme on the bike as i have the lead that goes onto the Can position sensor cable so need someone in the UK that can cut a key from a High Res picture but must include the ID46 chip so i can programme it, any one got any ideas please
I guess you have already seen the video by kaldek.. On ebay you can order blank chips from China for around £2 per chip with shipping almost as much so might want to order a few so you can make at least one extra key. Ebay UK also has Honda blank keys for around £10. As long as you have a working original key and a suitable blank key, companies like Timpsons can cut the blank key to match you existing key. You will then need to sort out the programming following the process shown by Kaldek, and that may mean you have to disable any lost keys. You might want to ask a dealer how much they would charge before committing to the DIY approach. Have fun SkiMad
