This bike was in great shape prior to the pandemic. It sat for two years and developed rust in the gas tank. I am hoping that someone either wants a project bike or can part it out.

Sorry about the lack of detail. I could not access my original "adhenri" account so I opened up a second account with another email. I am attaching additional photos. The rust in the tank is minimal but needs to be cleaned up. The tank has a small scratch. The paint on the main fairings looks great. The paint on the tail of the bike was fading and I tried to buff it out, but it now looks faded. All body parts are sound with no damage. The tires have less than 5% wear and look almost new. I completed all warranty service maintenance. 4K in 2005. 8K in 2006, 16K in 2007. 24K in 2010. The bike now has a little over 30K miles on it and it was running great until I let it sit during the pandemic and the tank got a little rust in it. I am now 72. I am not up to trying to repair it myself and I will not be riding anymore because of my age and arthritis. what else would you like to know?

 

I live in Rogers, Arkansas. The northwest corner of Arkansas. I would be happy to do a face time call and show the bike in detail. I would be happy to take a call and talk.

 

There was a recall for the front panel Sub-Harness on 8/15/2007 (Recall ID 07V359000) This recall fix was completed.
Until the rust in the gas tank there were no other problems.

 

I will send a current photo with me standing by the bike Monday evening.
