Hi. I am new to this Forum. I am building a project bike and have grafted a 2004 VFR800 single sided swing-arm into this bike. I understand the principal of the brake system as it works on the factory VFR 800. My question is:- Can I modify the the rear caliper operation , by using the rear master cylinder only? Would a single brake line with a tee going to both inlets on the caliper work? Has anyone done this? Or do I need to replace the caliper with another one? Where are they available , if this is the only option?

Hope someone can help me on this one?
    Cheers....... Melbourne .. Australia..........

I used an aluminum spacer with the original bolt and washers to cap mine off, you would never notice unless I pointed it oot.

BTW - you need a 14mm master cylinder to go with it. -- F4i or RC51 or Super Hawk, there's a couple others that I dont remember off the top of my head.

So you totally blocked off one of the holes in the caliper.
    Does it matter which one?
So with what your stating , either
hole pushes both caliper pistons. Yeah.
    Cheers..........
