2006 VRF800 Paint

    I just test drove a 2006 in black. Everything looks to be good on the bike but I noticed the paint on the back is not so nice. There is orange peel and some pinholes. Is this normal or should I suspect that there's been some repainting? It's at dealer so prior history is "unknown".

    The paint on my 2007 is very nice. No peel or pinholes

    I'd suspect something happened.. maybe they will price accordingly?

    Thanks. With this info, I asked the dealer and he did say it had been painted. It was silver originally and painted black.
