2008 Honda VFR800 ABS

Hey guys, I ride 2008 Honda VFR800 and I have one issue with my bike. whenever I ride the bike aggressively and using the brake too much, the ABS disconnect and I have to leave the bike to cool down. Sometimes this can take six hours. Has anyone faced the same issue?

 

I've never heard of this happening on an ABS-equipped vehicle. Does the ABS fault light come one when this happens?

Or does the brake start to lock on when hot? The linked brakes on the VFR can do odd things if they are not well maintained.

 

the ABS fault light keeps flashing on and off, like when you open the turn signal, but the brakes are good. It’s just the wheels keeps locking up like you’re riding without an ABS.

Have you tried different brake pads, new fluid?
