I'll do my best to make at least the Southern Washington to Olympia portion, I'd most likely meet you in Carson and ride the St. Helen's region and then spend the night at RVFR's...

P.S. I know it's in the early part of planning but approxamently where is your night stopped planned?

Assuming that all the roads are decent riding which I have no clue then maybe Woodland or Yakima. kingsley is our "map guy" / "navigator" / "planner" / and anything else I can think of. chomper is our "point man" / "group leader" / etc...

R.W. you know area better than us CDN's, any suggestions for the proposed routes? Do they look decent, any great roads that are being missed? It'll be great seeing ya again if ya make it. Drag NCB up with you too!

932 miles ! Shit, that sounds like 2 nights on the road. 6 or 7 hours in the saddle and I'm looking to get off the bike and choke back a few beers.

    Randy..RANDY..where are you???

I know I know, I'm a little concerned about that. I know we want it all but we may have to sacrifice somewhere...

Ya Randy, where are you. Your coming this time...

How about this one... it cuts it down to:

    Total Distance: 861.6 mi
    Total Estimated Time: 18 h 22 mins

It'll leave Yakima as the sleep over unless we find a little place in a smaller town.

No worries JS ! I'm game for whatever. I'm looking forward to Chelan and the east side of the Cascades and a little desert action for a change of scenery. I've only ever been to Mission Ridge (skiing) once.

    Thanks for your hard work.

Ya should be two completely different days if we split it in Yakima. I adopted the shorter one cause my rear was starting to hurt already. :baby:

New map above to show the green and the desert.

Just a quick note, if you are going to go that far, you might as well make the trip worthy. Once in Yakima head south on 97 to 14 head west to Carson up Wind river Rd. Curly Creek and #25 it's only the best route in Wa.

I think that's a great idea if the road rocks. Something however will need to give cause it will increase our mileage and time resulting in...

    Total Distance: 990.2 mi
    Total Estimated Time: 21 h 38 mins

The new map would look like this without backtracking...

    map removed

Day 1 - to Yakima would be 600miles/960km
Day 2 - Through Winthrop would be 390miles/630km

I think it's a bit too much IMO, at least for me anyways.

Yes Chomper, well I think that's if I understand what you are revering too. but yes 99 is off #25. Still say head south out of Yakima work your way back to Carson then head north from there, and forget going north on I5, you can back road it all the way back to Tacoma or Olympia for another over nighter.
