Now that I have about 400 miles on my new bike I am starting to look at an aftermarket Slip-On. I would love to see what ya'll have put on your bikes and if you are happy with the sound you got. I am looking at Akropovic and Two Brothers but I am open to suggestions. Pictures, videos or sound clips would be great. Also I must say I do love my new VFR. I thought I would miss my 2007 but that has not happened yet. One a stupid note. I managed to loose my extra key the first day. I put it in a zipper pocket in my jacket but did not zip it. 120 miles later--No key.AGGGGG

As far as looks go, I still like the DAM. Don't think I've heard a sound clip from the 2014 800 yet, though. I'm actually pretty happy with the sound of my Delkevic without the baffle.

+1 for the DAM, to me the looks of matte finish can and the polished tip is more in keeping with the style of the bike. Euro is at a reasonable rate.

RE: your key, I bought my 14 slightly used, it had only one key. Extra key cost me about $50, $20 from dealer & $30 to have it cut (dealer didn't do it).

There's a YouTube video of the Delkevic on a 2014 VFR. It sounds great

DD, that video sounds pretty Dam nice. Made me alittle dizzy though
Was woundering, should the bike have a certain number of miles before replacing the exhaust, be it broken in or warranty?

Let me say this one more time, use anything you like. Style, sound, make, materials, whatever, as long as it has the right inlet diameter and connector.

That's how I ended up with a Remus Viper in carbon on my 93, and they will flat tell you they did not make one for it.

    Rant over with.

I fitted a Two Brothers S1R a week ago, and I'm loving it. Their YouTube Clip doesn't do the pipe justice, but that's to be expected given the limitation of recording mics and speakers. In the flesh, it has a beautiful baritone burble at idle, and a full blown roar when you twist the throttle into the VTEC range. I'm interested to know if anyone has fitted the PowerTip accessory though? I have a nusiance nosy neighbour that I'm expecting complaints from (She insisted my 84dB stock Gen-6 wasn't street legal).

On a black VFR, the Two Brothers pipe looks like it was part of the organic factory design - best looking choice out there IMHO.

I just finished fitting my Powerbronze airflow dark-tint windscreen, but with night having fallen, I'll have to wait for better natural light before getting any quality photos.

As a side note, any 5th gen exhaust will fit the 8th gen. Bolt matches up to the footpeg mount perfectly from the pictures I saw.

I have been told that Motad should be producing a slip on in the summer.

I went ahead and ordered the Akropovic slip on for $620 shipped to me. It will arrive this coming Wednesday and will be installed that night. I sure hope the weather holds out for a Thursday ride. I will post pictures after it is installed.

Just checked the forecast...looks great for Mon, Tues, Wed, but only mid 50's and rain for Thursday. How's that for crappy timing!

I have a Two Bros also- it's AWESOME!!
Used to have one on my old Kawak I had years ago when I first passed my test. I fitted the powertip to reduce the Db's enough so that it would pass track-day sound tests as it was too loud even for those! The tip works well and is easy to swap over when you need it.
The exhaust on the VFR is nowhere near as loud as my Two Bros on the Kawak so it might not even need it??

I went with the Akrapovic. I've been very happy with it. Has anyone dynoed their results? Either with or without ECU tuning? The Akrapovic certainly made the engine come alive, I have to see if I can get it to stop popping slightly when off the gas with some ECU fiddling.

How much pop are you getting on decel. I was assured this was not going to happen with this pipe when I ordered it. I guess it is tell the customer what they want to hear to make the sale. I had not planned on messing with the ECU. I will have to decide for myself how much is too much.

I would spend my money on flashing the ECU.
As for the DAM, I have a high-mount DAM on my 800Fi, but for sure I won't get another low-mount DAM, heard and seen them.
    They are noisy and UGLY!
The high-mount on the 2000Fi looks way better and sounds good.

I'm sorry but the new DAM is ugly and loud, far too loud.
