I rode an ST for a long time, then moved to Colorado and got swept up in the adventure bike thing. I think I want to go back, but to a viffer.

At 71, I'm too old to go off-piste on a bike. I rode the ST all over CO two summers ago right before I sold it to get a BMW R1200GS, and loved the way it ran in the passes. The VFR will be even sweeter.

A dealer has one a little north of me, and I am going to go look. But I want to carry luggage. The Honda USA site allows you to configure the bike with accessories, but only has a top case with carrier. No hardshell panniers.

Can an owner fill me in on this?

Oh yeah, there are oem panniers available for the 8th gens. They are almost identical to my 7th gen panniers. If you like the voluminous space of the ST case, you may want to consider the Givi cases instead of the OEM. They do well enough for weekend trips, but if you are like me and tend to overpack, you will want the extra 2 liters of space!

So, am I going to be able to tie on my Wolfman, with OEM panniers on?
