I've just done the PAIR valvue mod on my 2017 Honda VFR800F, and when I turn the ignition on, the engine warning light comes on and stays on. So I put everything back to normal, and the engine warning light goes off.

Can I leave the electrics connected and block the hose?

The electrical plug I disconnected was the one in the blue circle. Should I have disconnected the one in the red circle? Both connectors come from the same wiring lume.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you traced them to where they originate?

I tried, but without pulling the bike apart I couldn't see much. The lume goes down behind the engine, and the disappears from sight. I think I'll just plug the hose and leave the electrical connections connected.

Orange and green wires are the pair solenoid valve ones.

Buck, how did you get on with the Pair removal, did the bike run any different and did you leave it electrically connected? Thanks

HI mate. I blocked the tube with a marble and left the electrics connected. The only difference it made was stopping the gurgling noise when backing off, no improvements in power etc. So I ended up putting it back to stock, it's a waste of time for an 8th Gen.

Cheers mate, I was thinking of doing this mod for a couple of reasons and not really for a power gain. If it behaves the same then that's a good sign.
I want to cool down the exhaust pipes to take some heat away from the rear shock and I think deleting the Pair will do that. The other gain would be a small weight loss by removing the solenoid and plumbing and it'd look less messy. Best regards and thanks for your quick reply.
