    Hi everyone,

Just purchased a 2010 VFR1200, the last time I rode was back in 1982 on a Yamaha XJ 750 Seca, at the time the Yamaha was awesome to ride. The driveshaft on the Yamaha was one of the reasons I bought the VFR. The VFR is a beauty to ride, just taking it slow getting my riding skills, back before I start scraping the pegs:). The wife wouldn't ride with me unless it had a backrest, so built my own backrest. Love the forums here, picking up a lot of good info and ideas.

Welcome to VFRW. The bike is very clean - like the akra pipe. Looks ready for a trip.
