Shessh, I LOL find this somewhat weird in asking, but love this place, so on to the bashing as they say So...... have a 5th gen in my sights , yes you read that right. I'm asking a 5th gen question. Yea, yea, yea, I know I'm a 4th gen lover, but this one particular 5th gen is a deal that's hard to turn down. Thing is and I think I know the answer, but, to be sure I'll ask. Does anu one here know if the 4th gen shock fits a 5th gen? What about the fork springs? I believe they may interchange, guess I could ask the suspension know it alls. It's just funny a 15 year old bike has fallen off the up grade radar, go figure. ;)

My recollection is that the rear shock is different. The 4 Gen has the adjuster on the side of it that the 5 Gen does not have. Not sure what the clearance is on the 5 Gen compared to the 4 Gen or if the eyelet width is any different either. Send Jamie Daugherty an email jamie@daughertymotorsports.com he'd know the answer for sure. Same for the forks.
