I'm planning on using a 2008-2011 CBR1000 rear tail section and subframe in my next project which will entail me grafting it onto a VFR. I've decided I'm going to use a 4th or 5th generation VFR. Does anyone here have experience or a good idea of which of these bike's frames will be the best (easiest?) to do this mod on?

sounds reminiscent of the 'BioBlade' from a few years back. They grafted onto a 5th gen. Either way you go it'll prob be about the same amount of fab work I'd think. I'd go with the 5th just cause it's a little more modern and might match with the tail a little better. Search bioblade out though and it'll give you some ideas.
