I've found very little on this thru searching, just wondering who has done it and what parts you used. Rear sprocket is the same as a CBR600F1 Hurricane I do believe. What about the front? The weight and horsepower of the Interceptor 500 is inline with a smaller final drive. A steel rear sprocket would be nice too.

As noted, the rear (driven) sprocket is available (same as the CBR600F) from several manufacturers. The front (drive) sprocket is not available. This will need to be machined down 'in-house' to fit a 520 chain.

So what other model Honda or otherwise use the same front sprocket as the VF500? I suppose 428 would be too small.
