6th Gen Air Funnels

I've seen some conversations about the orientation of these when reinstalling the air box. The manual appears to show them staggered whereas one tall and one short toward the front and the same in back but flipped. Comments?

A sensible answer from another forum. Sharing here because I like to ease the search for others.

 

The only diagram I've seen shows them paired front and back. I actually had asked prior to the correct placement as the diagram I saw had them taller in back and shorter in front but my bike had them opposite. I've actually been curious if this is part of my engine vibration issues.
