6th Gen Phone Mount

Hi all,

what do you use as a phone mount? Without handlebars it’s tricky to find a spot to put my phone. I’ve seen QuadLock stem mount, and love the look of it. But they’re on backorder with no idea when they’ll be available.

Any other ideas?

 

I'm doing research on mounts as well. I narrowed it down to the Quadlock (tough plastic) and the Rokfrom (aluminum)

I am in the US and amazon.com has the quadlock in stock. On backorder in Canada only? BTW, do your research on the Quadlocks. Apparently they might have changed something with the mount that goes on your phone. It was either too thick and they went to a cheaper adhesive. They might have fixed it by now.

 

I have the Quad lock stem mount on my 8th Gen its a great bit of kit and if you are feeling flush they have just released a wireless charger mount for it.
But at £90 I'm happy plugging a USB lead in. I have the motorcycle USB charger adapter on mine, hard wired on to bike then a small 10cm USB lead for my phone that connects from just under the quad lock base.

 

I saw these the other day on Twisted Throttle that also have a wireless charging feature, anyone had any experience using these and do they work like they should?

I have a Techmount for my Interceptor. I have a gps mounted but it could easily be a phone. It has a wire and and a USB connection in the neck for power.
