The rack is 22" long, 18 1/2" wide, and has a height about 5".

As for the weight, since it is mounted on the bike, I can't provide a good estimate.

The OEM racks are very heavy compared to the GIVI.

I didn't weigh it personally, but I've picked one up in my hands. It feels close to about 15lbs but that's strictly observation and not empirical.

    Hi!
Can someone tell me the length of the bolts that you use to screw the rear rack to bike, the manual just says "8mm long" and I don't have the bolts.... I would also appreciate the dimensions of the spacers that you're supposed to put under the rack when you attach it.

    Thanks!

According to the instructions that come with the trunk, items 21 and 22 are not used, as indicated by a note within the instructions.

When I bought my VFR, the PO provided a box of small parts, and within the collection were items 21 & 22. They may have been used for securing loose parts during the shipment of the rack.

Great pics Pete, I'll have to find something similar. Those go between the side carriers and the top rack, right?

Hm, I think my installation is a thing that keeps giving.
I have another issue I've noticed, one of the square nuts that are attached to the rear mud guard is missing (the ones that goes quite far to the front. Can you get these somewhere, what are they called? I'm thinking just replacing the thing with a nut and washer...

You are overthinking this - its just nuts & bolts - they don't 'need' to be the same - its will they do the job.. Just replace it with a nylock (nut with partial plastic insert) & washer.
