I have an '84 VF700 Sabre with a little trouble with the idle. I just bought the bike a month ago and overall it runs good, but when I'm at a dead stop I have to feather the throttle until I'm over 1500 rpms then it runs smooth, if I just give it gas it'll die (idle is set just about 800-1000). Also if I adjust the idle any higher than that it will start running real rough but won't change idle speed until 1500 also lol. Also kinda smells like it's running rich, does this sound like just a tuning problem that I should have the dealer look at? or is there another adjustment I can make to the carbs to see if it helps. So far I have just checked the air cleaner, and ran some carb cleaner through it. Lemme know what yall think.. Thanks in advance! -Steve
