Hi, I have rebuilt the carbs on this 85 vf1000f and after disassembly noticed the note in the clymer book that although all 4 carbs look the same they have differences. 2 of the slow jets (i think thats what they are) have 4 holes and 2 of them have 5 holes. I guessed that the 5 hole ones went in the front carbs, But it seems to lack low end torque now. If anyone has experience in this area or has a set of these carbs off a bike and could take the float bowls off and have a look. I would sure appreciate it. I have been trying to find the answer for months. I know I should have made note upon disassembly. My bad, Thank you, Mike.
