I bought it new back in 86, but it was sitting in the garage for 23 years. I’m retired and in my early sixties, so this bike has become my retirement project. I sold off my other bikes (TZ250, RD400, and RZ350) because they definitely didn’t fit me any more. My FII only has 5800 miles on the clock and was great ride for fun sport touring. I’ve gone through the bike and replaced wheel bearings, chains, cables, and anything rubber. The brakes, carburetors and clutch systems have been rebuilt. I put bar risers on with a comfortable bar to get a little extra upright riding position. I’m looking to find a foot peg lowering option. At my age I’m not going to be leaning the bike like I did in my twenties. Any advice for lowering the foot pegs would be greatly appreciated.

You would be surprised at what you find when you take things apart. Thirty-six years of corrosion and seals that dry out was my motivation to completely overhaul the bike. I still want to upgrade the suspension front and rear. Next winter the back frame comes off to get powder coated.
