Hey hey keep it down. I been watching that thing, it a few hours from me. Thinking I might snag it up if it stays low enough. Starting a vfr collection and that would make a nice price for restore

Lol whoops should have known that someone here in vfr World had already noticed that vfr for sale. Gotta figure with no key, crash damage, and only a few states that will give you a title for it, the price should stay pretty low.

I put a bid on it. I don't need a title in Vermont for it. That and i am only a few hours away. Looks like I am being out bid by a bike breaker though. They have very high feed back. More than just a enthusiast would have. I may not end up with it due to this. My budget is kinda low for a bike I won't be touching for a year or so while I get other things going.

Unless of coarse some one wants to donate some $$ to rescue the ol girl to ensure she gets the loving she deserves.. Just putting it out there haha

well I am at my max on the vfr.

any donations will be accepted, do it for the VFR, pennies a day could go along ways to saving our beloved VFRs your donations could help many vfrs find a loving for ever home and will help pay for any cost from the initial recue to insuring recovery process include but nut limited to restoring to formal glory, and housing cost. what will you get for your donation? monthly photos of the progress a free t-shirt or sweat shirt from the VFR rescue group. and if your ever in the area you can interact with the VFR. once it recovers....

disclaimer: this is all false, unless of coarse you send me some money then just the shirts is a lie. unless you send me a lot of money then yea I will make a shirt for you :)

$800 seems like a fair limit for a bike with no keys, no title, mashed tank, and has not run in 26 years???
If the engine is stuck, that will seem like quite a bit more than "all the money" for the buyer.

That seems like a TON of money for that bike. Buyer is no eBay greenie, lots of feedback. Maybe:
    1. He is a salvage dude, plans to part it.
    2. He has another one (or more) and has a need for parts.
    3. He knows the bike, and more about it than what could be gleaned on the listing.

After I put in $860 which was more than I wanted to I zoomed in on all the pictures and it was rough as hell. I don't think there was 1 peice of plastic that was not damaged in one way or the other. Key is not only missing but the switch was ruined
