95 VFR750 breather pipe ?????

Hi just had my bike serviced by dealer & as i should have learnt by now if you want something done properly do it yourself, anyway i lifted my tank & there was a small pipe not connected to anything next to main breather, can anyone tell me where it goes obviously one end goes to small pipe on tank an inch away from breather but other end with plastic bit who knows??
