Help! I have a problem with my charging system. I have taken a ton of measurements with two different RR's and two different batteries with fuses in and out, but I cannot quite put my finger on the problem. I basically have 13.6VDC at idle that drops to 13VDC with one of the RR's and to 12.6VDC with the other @ 5KRPM. Alternator output is 17VAC @ idle and jumps to 60VAC @ 5KRPM. I have great grounds and clean contacts everywhere. I am about ready to just buy a new RR and alternator (aftermarket)! Hopefully somebody can relate to this and we can compare notes.
