    Hello all ,

I recently purchased a VFR700F2 in White ,I have read through the forums here and want too thank everyone for sharing their knowledge,

I Have found most everything i am looking for through the links found in the forums,,

I am still struggling to find front turn signals "factory" in white, and mirrors are a definite want..

I am trying to take this bike back as close too New as i possibly can,, lucky it has no mechanical issues ,,,other than a suspect fuel pump!!

oh also looking for the gas tank filler ,,,the guts of the lock on this on took a dive i mean cant even get the key in..

I wanted this bike for years now i have it and im trying really hard to age regress it ,, any advice comments opinions greatly appreciated

    thanks John "Rail"

I've got a whole bucket full of old turn signals that'll fit those old 2nd gen. VFR's John. Unfortunately though none of them are the factory white ones that you're looking for. Just a thought but why not get yourself a rattle can of the factory white paint from Color Rite and disassemble and paint the ones you've got. That might be a little easier than tracking down a clean set of the factory white ones for your F2.

Sorry John,my bad. I thought you already had some turn signals, just not the factory white ones you're looking for. I sold my beloved old '86 VFR700 a few years ago so I don't have any use for these anymore. They're just sitting in a bucket in my basement collecting dust so if you can use them shoot me a PM with your name, address, and zip code and I'll box them up and ship them out to you my treat. Save you at least a couple of bucks on your project anyway.

Railguy, one thing i can safely say is that if youre not totally hellbent on a full on factory restoration, when you get ready for your mirrors, get the ones from Bikemaster. the stock mirrors suck, theyre ugly, and they provide for horrible rear vision, whereas the aftermarket mirrors fix ALL these problems (and are often cheaper)

Yeah, the stock mirrors on my '86 750 are probably the same as the ones on the '87.
They do suck, I'll probably go with something newer myself when I change out the winsheild, do you have a pic or number on the bikemasters Chris?

Excellent Thanks for the links ,

Right now im in process of doing a cbr 600 f2 front and f3 rear rim conversion ,, gave up on finding a fox twin clicker and am having oem shock cut and welded,,got a yosh 4 into 1 exhaust,,,found all the body work and decals,

found a almost new clutch basket, CDI box and Tailight assembly,, for 100 bucks delivered, it only needs the Tailight, but at that price i took it all , Pictures will follow but right now its all prep for the build.

    Regards Rail

Say Rail... Where'd you find the decals? I'm looking for stock '87 VFR 700 F2 for the white version. The originals are gold.
