    Hey All,

After much stress these past few days trying to figure out how to get to the tip of Long Island, Hampton Heights area... The Lord made the trip work and I headed out this morning with a U-Haul van (a total cost of $325.00 including gas ) and my buddy Jeremy.

We arrived just as expected and loaded up the new bike. I returned home from everything at about 7:00 pm this evening.

I'm the proud new owner of a 5th gen VFR w/ 27k miles, corbin hardbags (need some touchup), solo seat cowl....

Bike runs great! Unfourtinately I don't think I'll be able to take it out until around Easter... my schedule is just that busy... I took it for a spin up the block and back before I bought it... its nice to have something sportier!

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys on this board, and maybe riding with some of you east coast guys when the weather gets nicer!

Hey Mike;Welcome, I am a PA guy myself. I was in a similar situation about a year ago with my Viff'er. I found mine in Northern N.J. Drove up with my trailer and took the bike home, however some of it was contained in cardboard boxes. I bought my bike after it was involved in an accident. I got to know the bike by making repairs and piecing her back together.By the pictures,it appears your bike is in very good condition. Hope you have good luck with her! eddie

Not being from PA, I'm feeling a little left out and compelled to mention that I've been to PA once. [IMG]

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! 10 replies, wow! I haven't had this much of a welcome anywhere since when I was into Toyota Mr2's and on their forums...

I'm currently attending college at West Chester University. I'm keeping the bike at my parents house in the Lehigh Valley area... I'm hoping to get out Easter weekend... but I'll be finished with this semester and home on May 13th and will have the whole summer to ride (after work of course :))

Keep me posted on Eastern PA rides, I'll try to meet up with you guys at least once in the upcoming months.

    I was into first gen mk1 mr2's. I had a beautiful 1985 red hardtop and a black 1989 sunroof.

I miss the car a lot when I can't ride the bike.

Welp I am another one up here in PA. Mine came with the corbin beetlebags too,but after the flame job they just looked weird on the bike.Yellow is the color to have.....though I may be biased.

    Welcome

    Welcome to the VFR World!

Seems quite a bunch of us VFR owners are popping up around SE PA which is awsome. All my buddies either have HD's or Poser Street Bikes, be nice to get some miles in with some fellow Sport-Tourers.

A hearty welcome from northern Delaware. Nice to see another person from the general area. Easter's not that far off and the way the weather has been it's not a bad idea to put off riding until then (breaks my heart to say).

Found this old thread. I am in eastern PA, NW Lehigh County. Any of you local PA VFR riders still out there?
