I'm a little confused by the NGK spark plugs listed for the 5th Gen (at places like Partzilla and Hondapartshouse).

    CR9EH9

    CR9EH-9

    CR8EH9

    CR8EH-9

I do understand that on the NGK plug the "8" is a slightly hotter plug than the "9"

But is there a difference between a "9" and a "-9" Why the difference in designation?

And, do any of you use the slightly hotter "8" version?

I use the standard NGK 9 plugs. My guess is that there is no difference between a "9" and "-9". If you go to NGK's website I'm sure there will be an explanation of their part codes.
