Hey Guys, I was just reading in the March '09 issue of Classic Bike, pg. 100 down at the bottom, this fella says to watch out for frame corrosion on the VF1000R's due to coolant being carried in the frame... Tell me I'm not losing my mind! I am just going thru a restoration of one and during my teardown I haven't seen yet anything like that... Am I missing something?

No, nothing to worry about. The 1000F bikes carried part of the cooling through the left removable frame rail. The R switched to a hose and solid frame rail.
