Hey guys. My diaphragms aren’t moving. At all. I think I narrowed my issue down. I can move them with my fingers open, easily too. They then shut normally but when I run the bike and accelerate, they don’t move at all.

I must be missing something here. Where is vacuum generated on them? Thanks :)

Update, reseated the diaphragms inverting the shrunk rubber and they seat perfectly.
Bike is fully functional again. :)

sometimes the rubber shrinks over the years so getting it back in the grooves can be tough.

I usually make them an umbrella and hold the piston up with a finger down the bore while I seat the cap with the spring.

Yea that’s what I did tonight. Never thought about it until I saw someone do it on another bike. Hopefully this thread will help someone in need like I was. Fully operational now :)
