    Something like this might be handy for emergency use,but if you are hauling your bike any distance more than a couple of miles I'd go with a proper trailer!!

    I'm agree with Mr Iron Maiden. I wouldn't use that for anything other than maybe a 2-3 mile emergency trip.

    Looks too risky for me. I'd stick to a trailer. Possible transmission damage, not to mention big bumps causing the bike to bounce right off.

    I think the biggest decision factor would be tire and chain wear- both are not cheap and would be taking the brunt of the load. I don't think it would hurt the tranny any, because the angle that it is tilting would slosh alot of oil back where the gears are. tires would be my biggest concern....

    the worst way to carry a bike ! I think that it is not legal. I do not see stop light, and the bike is free to fall on both sides...
