Alternator output

    Does anyone know what the output is for a stock 2000 VFR 800. I am thinking about the coming cold season and want to know if it will handle a heated jacket.

    The '99 Service book indicates the alternator output of
    .47kw at 5000 rpm

    Amps X Volts = watts..... do the math ;-)
