Just bought a starter clutch and gasket from them. 2 day shipping and the best prices on the web. Not to mention they take Paypal and have a military discount.

    I thought they were fantastic.

Took them 11 days to ship my order out. I understand they may not have everything in stock, but it seemed like quite a bit of time . . . When I followed up w/ them a couple of times they were like "it should ship out today", so I say what does "should" mean? "Oh, well we're not the shipping dept". Well this is a shipping issue, so can I speak to the shipping dept? "No, not really"
Whatever . . . I told them to forget about the part they were waiting on and just send it.
One of the parts was damaged when I got the order. It was a very delicate carb diaphragm spring - should have been packed in it's own separate little box. Looked like it was probably damaged before it left. They made good on it pronto. Overall they were a bit of a pain to deal with, but I'll likely be dealing w/ them again as their prices do rock.

I've ordered quite a few parts from them. Never had a problem. I think they keep a few common things in stock and therefore can ship out pretty quick. Otherwise they have to order from the dealer and then ship it to you so it can take a couple of weeks or so to get. I like that they ship to my P. O. Box!

I've ordered from them many times, most of the stuff I've purchased came in right away except a few items (rear caliper pistons on one order) which took almost a month to get in!! Although I can't say it was their issue as these were coming from Mother Honda. The last order I did involved some front brake rotor bolts and they took at least 4 days to arrive (at their warehouse) and then ship to me. They have an online order status and it usually pretty accurate. As soon as I saw that they received the parts from Honda, I got a shipping notice the next day. As with most places, sometimes things go well and sometimes they don't, all I can say is that I haven't had an issue with wrong shipments or damaged goods and the customer service I received was fine, YMMV.

Ordered from them many times, no problems. Most online seller will need to order some OEM parts and can take 7-10 days to get the shipment out. I've used Cheapcycleparts.com and Ronayers.com and they also have taken over a week for some items to ship out. I think this is just standard if they don't have some of the more common parts in stock. Either way, never had issues with any of them.

I'm not sure if rockymountainatvmc.com and powersportssuperstore.com has as big of an OEM selection but I've been getting all sorts of carb jets from them for years. Also no problems.

Like many above I have ordered from PartZilla numerous times and have always been pleased with the pricing and service. Never had anything take longer than a few days to be received.

ordered from partzilla and not to impressed, items are in stock and were to be shipped on the 10th , I called 4 days ago and asked when my order was going out, they said order is being picked and will be shipped out the next day which was 3 days ago and still no shipping confirmation , I can see a delay with items not in stock but over 2 weeks to ship items in stock is not good , hopefully they ship out soon, I cant complain about the prices as they are cheaper the every other vendor and shipping to Canada was reasonable,

I used a site called motorcyclegoodies.com for a clutch side cover about a year ago, shipping took about ten days or so. Probably five for them to get it from Honda and then five from them to me, but they were a fair amount less expensive than others that I shopped.

The painless way is to call and ask if what you want to order is in stock. The online parts/farkles dudes are at the mercy of their suppliers and the shippers.

If shit service for parts is a turn on, try your local dealership and the parts guy whose girlfriend is the adopted daughter of the dealer.

Ordered carb boots off the internet from them on 3-27 and received them one week later on 4-3. No hassles, no calls, and got the right parts. I will use them again in the future if they sell the right part I need.

I am comforted to hear others have had good luck with them. I placed 2 orders with them the weekend of April 19. The second order was in-stock and got here pronto, the first order kept getting pushed out, then they said it shipped except they apparently never got the box handed off to FedEx. The tracking number I received said "shipping information received, expected delivery Friday May 2"...until Saturday May 3, when FedEx tracking said N/A for delivery...

When I notified them, they act like FedEx lost it and will replace it only after FedEx completes "a trace". Then I suspect I'll get to wait another couple of weeks while they order those parts.

Partzilla is not BBB affiliated. There are few complaints against them on BBB, but I did notice one of the complaints is about a possibly similar shipping issue.

I'll try to edit (if allowed) or follow-up this post with an update later. I also REALLY need to introduce myself and my bike. I will get there eventually!

[UPDATE May 9, 2014 - The shipment showed up unexpectedly. Tracking showed the package miraculously first appearing in Indianapolis, IN the night before being delivered, even though it originated in Georgia???. It was a week later than the original FedEx delivery estimate, so there was probably some story that will forever remain a mystery]

Pay the BBB enough and they will make anybody sound like a cross between Steve Jobs and Jesus. Don't and they will make anyone sound like a cross between Charles Manson and Rush Limbaugh.

Pretty much! The So Cal BBB office was actually kicked out of the BBB for taking $ for better reviews. The same people who were the So Cal BBB office formed a new company and were trying to fool people into joining their group. I received a letter from them (I own a small business) and it was a bit misleading. The gist of the letter was they were asking for a "BBB" renewal fee, but when you got to the part about who to write the check out to, the name was different. That threw up a red flag for me and I did an internet search and found out the the whole story. This new group had kept the entire business database and when they left and reformed and that is what they used to reach out with the "renewal" letters.

Then ya got the United Way dude who was hiring hookers, The charities that 94% of the take goes to "administration" and Honda dealer parts guys with vivid imaginations who are not even aware that there is more than one Honda parts warehouse.

The whole BBB thing is a scam.. The money comes from businesses. Whose side are they gonna be on if anything comes up? Get a crap rating and all ya have to do is buy your way out.

The whole deal may be a computer.. I don't know of anyone who has ever talked to a live person.

I have spent over $2500 from these guys in the past when it was called (powersportsplus) however i placed a fairly good sized order now that they are called partzilla the service has somehow suffered. I placed 2 orders and its been 2 weeks and barely 1 is shipping and other is still pending. My bike has been down since then and its killing me its taking this long. 1 part shows "backorder" with a ETA of like 2 days after i ordered it...ok fine i can live with that. Well the so called backorder date has been updated and extended 2-3 days each time the old backorder date came...now thats BS, why would you keep extending he backorder date each time the deadline arrives??? So now i have a part i actually need on a backorder that has been extended 3 times now and its holding up the other shit....im a bit pissed now with no straight answers.

So to put, they are honest as far as they wont take your money and disappear but dont buy any time crucial part from them if you need it in a hurry, it doesnt look like they stock most of the stuff i ordered. I wished they had a live inventory like some sites which tells you if they have it or not. This is the first time i ever waited this long for a part at any online outlet.

Also the part that kills me is they wont combined my 2 orders when it was ordered like 5 hours apart late at night (it wouldn't have been processed yet anyways)... I even asked if they can just ship what they have and make the backordered stuff on the other order (that way it doesnt hold up my whole order) they said no. Its not like it would of cost them more shipping money as i paid shipping twice anyways.

A little whine with your cheesy service?

These suppliers are not going to change their business model just because somebody changes their mind after placing an order. The alternative would be to shop at a mom and pop store but what might be found is that that part that only fits one bike made 20 years ago or some glow in the dark farkle is out of stock.

The partial solution is to call and ask if what is wanted is in stock. Expecting any of these online mega suppliers to have their entire database online is pretty silly IMO. Alexander Graham Bell to the rescue.
