    Saw these on eBay:

I'd rather not cut the fairings if I don't have to. But if the non-cut ones are crap I'm OK with cutting - these look like a possibility so wanted to see if anyone has info.

    Thanks- crash.JPG

Would be nice if they showed a pix of the slider mounted to an actual VFR and not just an NC700. I am a sissy & I use frame sliders. I've got these on my '07 VFR:

And yes, scubalong, I've looked over the posts you pointed to regarding sliders. I both agree & disagree with various points made about mounting, locations, etc. This is an area that's very much a YMMV type of thing. No slider is going to provide a great deal of protection, just some protection. I've low-sided to both sides on my Aprilia at the track with big honking sliders mounted about mid-point on the bike & found them to be quite beneficial under those conditions. I've low-sided once on my VFR on the street, with the Lightech units also mounted mid frame. Fortunately I was only briefly on pavement, then off into a field. The Lightech took the brief hit to pavement and the grind into the field very well. It did not bend & I believe it helped to keep some damage away from the fairing towards the rear. The front of the fairing was damaged some. I rode the bike home after, so it was a 'good' crash  ...
