Back after 11 years

    Hello, everyone!

    I'm not new to the forum, but I figured after 11 years of quiet I should re-introduce myself. I've met some of the old guard in person, been on rides, shared phone numbers, etc. Then I got other motorcycles, cars, a wife with her own bikes and cars, new responsibilities, etc. and lost touch with my VFR crew.

    I never sold my bike, though, and it's still my favorite. I purchased (new) in 2008 my 2007 RWB ABS with the side cases. It's not my commuter and is still pretty low in miles (about 18k) but that means each mile I do ride it is even more special.

    Miss this crew and figured it was time to reconnect.

    Did you make it to any of Reggie's VFR Roundups over in Atascadero?

    Hopefully once they sort out a reliable vaccine for that dratted virus it will once again be possible to organise VFR meets around the planet.

    Thank you! No, I didn't make it to one of those. We had a meetup in Atlanta at a bike event and I ended up buying a leather tracksuit on a day that was extremely warm. It didn't fit in my luggage, so I sweated home to Chattanooga while wearing it. :) I also rode with a few other members on casual rides.

    Ha! No, since that photo they're actually PR3s now. Believe it or not, though, the battery is still original. Seriously. The one they put in it to bring it to the front of the showroom for me in December of 2008! I think when it finally gives up the ghost I'm going to make a doorstop out of it or something.
