So I went through with it and de-PAIRed my 4G. While I was at it, I had to remove the rear cylinder head cover to gain access to the rear PAIR flange bolts.

While I was at it, I figured that I might as well check the valve clearances and address a few other maintenance issues.

I didn't break anything, so no worries. However, I will be needing the following:
    Valve cover gaskets
    Sub-Air filter
    Fork seals
The low wattage bulbs behind the dash

Was wondering who you guys go to for this stuff. Service Honda wanted $23 a piece for the VCG's, that seemed steep. Any other suggestions?

So far for OEM parts I've used Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories ? BikeBandit.com and just recently Honda Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Sea-Doo Can-Am Ski-Doo Motorcycle Parts ATV parts Scooter Parts personal watercraft parts Accessories. I have not received my order from SHS yet (just placed it yesterday). They were one of the best prices I found and had very inexpensive shipping. I've seen SHS appear several other times in posts as well and it seems they have good customer service.

Wherever you end up going make sure you check out the shipping costs because several beat these two's price on parts but the shipping ended up being 3 or 4 times as much and would have cost me a lot more.

ronayers.com is also good, and I can say after using them for years, they also offer excellent customer service, unlike some of the other cheapo places. If you get on their mailing list, they also frequently offer specials with 10% or 15% off your entire order, or free shipping
