Just pretty much completed a complete home make over with new carpet, new hardwood floors, painted the whole house, sheet rocked in an entertainment center with kick ass surround sound, put in recessed lighting and a complete make over of the kitchen, the thing I'm most proud of is that I did 80% of the work myself, the only thing I have left to do is finish of the crown molding, here is some pics of the before and after on the kitchen...

Oh, granite. Either way, it all looks like something on HGTV (my wife's favorite channel).

Many nights I've been forced to watch HGTV because it's also my wife's favorite channel, but I've learned a lot from that channel...

ur, ah, ahemmm, (whisper) you and me both, R.W. but lets keep it between us, brother.

There's actually some decent shows with great dyi info. Others are truly harmful to our manhood and belong on the Lifetime Channel or Oxygen.

R.W. I really hate handy &#$%ers like you. You make me sick. :puke:

Why? 'Cause I couldn't build a Cub Scout lean-to against a tree and have it come out right.

Believe me, I wasn't that handy before I started these projects, but I'm a cheap *!#&!@%, so I got educated real quick on home improvement after I saw the contractors quotes. Don't even ask me how many pieces of crown molding I threw away learning how to do the perfect corner, to bad Rev wasn't my neighbor, I could have used his advise on a lot of what I did.
