Brake fluid exchange, did it my way

    Not as bad as i thought, thanks to mighty vac. The existing brake fluid was as brown as coffee, looked like the original and this bike is a '99. Vaccumed the old reseviors out, then followed the book on bleeding steps, did not drain the lines completely out like the manual would have you do, just bled each point till I got clean fluid only......brakes fell very good. Completed all of my body off work yesterday, so this week it's reassemble, and ready to ride (anywhere) time!! Now that I know what I've got I'm ready to flog this thing with no mercy. Going to a Kawasaki ZRX rally in Eurika Springs Arkansas in May. Think I'll suprise 'em all and take the VFR! Aint much out there as fun to ride as the Ozarks, traction rich, low cop count, miles and miles of twisty's.......VFR country I'm thinking! We'll see how she'll hang with some well riden ZRX's!!:biggrin:
