How Do. Some VFR rider with open pipes and open intake passes my shop about every day . Sounds like an indy car . So I had to have one . Found a decent 96, Paid a little too much but love it and hope to not crash it too bad. Stock exhaust , now has Delkavic 13in. Sounds mo better . Fresh tires , getting it down to where it belongs and maybe a little lower, I will set the valves and check the carbs. It sucks fuel bad . Thanks for a nice site with some useful info. Mike Ogren , Protech Racing. I dyno tune and build road race cars . I can dyno bikes also .
Hey Mike! I've seen you on the VW forums! Congrats on your VFR purchase, and welcome! I used to live in Weeki Wachee, and when my wife can't stand NY any more, we'll be back. Have you met that VFR owner yet? I'll stop by your shop next time I'm in town!
Welcome to the fray Mike. The sound is that addictive I agree. You should post a photo or two when you get a chance, we tend to be visually motivated.
