Hi, I'm wanting to check and adjust the valves on my 750fv myself.
I'm looking for info on the job. I've found one good thread but it doesn't go as far as getting the cams out and changing the shims.
    Cheers.

    What Year Vfr ??

This is a fairly difficult and very critical operation with many wrong ways to do it and only one way to get it right and avoid serious engine damage.

You'll need some quality tools and an accurate torque wrench.

CHECKING the clearances (without resetting) is much less of a job, and if you're lucky (valves within spec) you will need to go no further.
